Terms of Use
Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the service is
This site provides a free, browser-based tool for checking whether the keys on a keyboard register correctly. It is offered for general diagnostic and informational use.
The tool reports only what your browser tells it. A key that fails to appear here has not been proven faulty, and a key that appears has not been proven fully functional — operating system settings, remapping software, drivers and browser behaviour can all affect the result.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its results are suitable for any particular purpose.
Do not rely on this tool alone when deciding whether to repair, return or replace hardware.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including decisions made about hardware on the basis of its output.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to build or distribute anything unlawful. Do not misrepresent the site as your own.
Intellectual property
The site's design, code and written content belong to us unless stated otherwise. Product and brand names referenced in the layout options belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe hardware; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Third-party services
The contact form forwards submissions through a third-party form delivery provider. Submitting the form is the only action on this site that transmits data to an external service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
