Your keystrokes

The keyboard tester runs entirely in your browser. Key presses are read, used to colour a key on screen, and discarded when you reload or close the page. They are never transmitted to us, written to storage, or shared with anyone.

We do not build a record of which keys you pressed, in what order, or how quickly.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage or session storage. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Analytics and advertising

We run no analytics, no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels, no session recorders and no third-party embeds. There are no fingerprinting scripts. Every script and font the site loads is served from this domain.

The contact form

If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message text you enter. We use them only to reply to you.

Submissions are relayed through a third-party form delivery provider, which processes the message in order to pass it on. We do not add your address to a mailing list or sell it to anyone.

The form includes a hidden field that real people never fill in. Its only purpose is to discard automated spam.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, its infrastructure processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL in order to serve the page and protect against abuse. We do not add our own logging on top of that, and we do not use it to build profiles of visitors.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Because we hold nothing beyond the contact messages you choose to send, there is usually nothing to export or erase. If you have written to us and would like that message deleted, ask and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will change with it. Material changes will be described here rather than applied quietly.
